It was amazing! Honestly I came in quite sceptical, because I haven't found a lot of techniques to be helpful, but I was blown away by this.

How Tend Works
Tend VR-MBI (Virtual Reality Mindfulness-Based Intervention) exists to deliver safe and effective interventions that can be rolled out rapidly at population scale, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional therapies.
Our mission is to put quality mental health care in the hands of as many people as possible, helping individuals to recover and communities to flourish.
Tend is an adaptation of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, using the immersive power of virtual reality to lower the barriers to entry for mindfulness-based interventions.
Delivered through a Meta Quest VR headset over eight 45-minute sessions, Tend can be accessed in a clinical, community or at-home setting.
Users also receive access to Tend’s mobile app, with simple exercises and mindfulness practices to support wellbeing.
Tend is the world's first VR adaptation of MBCT. We've tested Tend across six pilot and feasibility studies with 12–75 participants, and over 250 people have completed the course with zero reliable deterioration in all studies
The first time I did the [Tend] breath ball exercise, it was just transformative for me. I couldn't believe how much that has transformed my life.

I’ve got hope that I’ll be able to deal with certain things... It’s taught me that if you are kind to yourself, take things slowly, who knows what might happen.
