Immediately Scalable

Tend allows for fast reductions in wait lists and is instantly scalable.

We’re currently deployed within a number of NHS Trusts, including Hackney & Homerton, Velindre and Esk & Wear Valleys (one of England’s largest mental health providers) – with many more launching throughout 2026.

Tend offers a scalable, flexible solution that meets the NHS’s goals for accessible, high-quality and effective mental health care. Our intervention can be delivered in a clinical or community setting, or at home.

Clinical Settings

Talking Therapies

Tend VR-MBI is a cost-effective and scalable intervention that is ideal for Talking Therapies pathways, either delivered on-site or in the home, or through VCSE partners.

Psycho-Oncology

Tend VR-MBI is being piloted with Velindre University NHS Trust in Wales for use within psycho-oncology care pathways.

Post Surgical Rehabilitation

Pilots are being scheduled for 2026 that will use Tend VR-MBI in post-surgical recovery.

How Tend Is Delivered

Referral

After a 20 minute introductory session and subject to exclusion criteria, patients are able to decide if the Tend programme is suitable for them. If not, they remain where they are on existing treatment plans.

Intervention

Patients who opt for Tend VR-MBI book themselves in for their eight week course, completing this either on site or through a VCSE partner, with a suitably qualified healthcare professional contacting them to oversee their wellbeing.

Discharge

At the end of the eight week programme patients have their final outcomes recorded. With 73% reliable improvement, patients finish Tend VR-MBI with new skills and techniques, and a better understanding of their mental health.

We're still in the early days, but actually what we are seeing is great recovery rates for patients.
