Matthew Hoad-Robson

Matthew is Co-Founder and CEO of Tend, where he leads strategy, product vision and clinical partnerships. Having grown up with a parent experiencing severe mental illness, and having navigated depression and anxiety himself, Matthew founded Tend to make evidence-based mental health support accessible at population scale. He brings a background spanning digital product, healthcare innovation and commercial strategy, and now drives Tend's deployment across NHS Talking Therapies, the voluntary sector and international health systems. His focus is on building an intervention that is clinically rigorous, cost-effective and genuinely scalable.
